Sales representative
Responsibilities & Expectations
Call on existing accounts to retain existing distribution and aggressively pursue new on & off-premise business; Maintain a consistent market visitation schedule between all assigned territories by regularly calling on off premise outlets per week.
Keep thorough records of all account visits, attain pre-determined sales and distribution goals.
Make timely presentations and introduce new and limited release beers.
As needed make accurate and timely delivery of product to customers; Plan delivery route in coordination with other team members. Uphold strict inventory standards by completing and processing paperwork in an accurate and timely manner.
Timely perform necessary administrative tasks (including but not limited to expense reports, monthly work calendar, establish distribution targets, entering orders and closing out open invoices, recording shipped product and received keg shells, evaluate discount programs, conduct price surveys, maintain and report an expense budget).
As needed, operate Rosenstadt delivery van in a safe manner to pick up and deliver goods; Maintain the cleanliness of vehicles.
As needed occasionally perform other duties including but not limited to assist in product packaging and shipping.
Support Rosenstadt festival and special events team at Brewer s nights, tastings, and beer dinners in accounts; assist and run off-site events; ensure brand standards are followed at all events, assist with account promotions as needed, complete post analysis of all events.
Schedule: Mon through Fri generally 9am-5pm or equivalent; 40 hrs average weekly. Working hours may differ on occasion depending on circumstances (working nights, early mornings, weekends, and holidays as needed).
Required Skills & Experience
Must be 21 years of age; Bachelor's degree and prior experience in a sales position; prior beer sales experience preferred.
Valid Driver License with a good driving record, a reliable, registered and insured vehicle, and ability to drive to and from accounts continuously.
Effective time management and sales call planning with little to no daily oversight an organized self-starter, able to be proactive and take initiative, manage priorities and routine functions effectively and efficiently; a willingness to adjust to and an ability to cope with frequent operational changes and priorities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to talk to others to convey information effectively; strong written communication skills, strong persuasion skills: ability to influence others decision making or persuading others to change their minds or behavior
Outgoing personality that loves working with all walks of life, understands exceptional customer service.
A demonstrated skill set in relationship management.
Social perceptiveness - Being aware of others' reactions and understanding why they react as they do.
Negotiation - Bringing others together and trying to reconcile differences.
Decision making skills - collect, assess and interpret relevant information and make sound judgment.
Secure education in general brewing knowledge and specific Rosenstadt brewing information and beers, other craft beers and the craft beer community.
